*THIS BOARD ENDED ON APRIL 1, 2021 DOES NOT CURRENTLY MEET*
Purpose of the Community Advisory Board (CAB):
On June 12, 2020, Governor Cuomo issued an Executive Order called the New York State Police Reform and Reinvention Collaborative. This mandate calls for the formation of a local committee to work with their police agencies to update policing policies and practices with stakeholder input. In September 2020, the City of Norwich formed its Community Advisory Board (CAB). The board meets every Wednesday from 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm. The public is welcome to attend, however due to COVID-19 restrictions we must limit the participation to 5 people. In order to be fair that everyone gets to attend, you MUST call 607-334-1201 to register for each meeting by 5:00 the day before the meeting. All meeting minutes can be located on the City of Norwich page here
